This hedge trimmer is a welcome relief from my past purchases of Black & Decker cordless equipment. This hedge trimmer, unlike B&D with their crappy Ni-Cad batteries which not only have a charged life of 2 or 3 minutes but weigh enough to anchor a cruise ship, weighs a mere 5 lbs. It comes with a Li-ion battery half the size of the B&D battery and lasts many, many times longer. It also comes with a top-notch battery charger as opposed to the chintzy B&D gadget. If you are in need of a cordless hedge trimmer look no further than Worx w/Li-ion battery. I have ordered the Worx Li-ion grass trimmer and am anxiously awaiting its arrival.
