I bought the rake to take the snow off of 2 aluminum frame vinyl/fabric tents that we have set up at a Fall harvest event the month of October here in Colorado every year. We have lost 5 tents to snow over the last 7 years. We had our snow weather event this year and the rake took the snow off as the accumulation progressed. The little wheels on the bottom of the rake head made it easy to move up and down the tent top while keeping the edges and corners of the head from rubbing and catching on the seams. The handle snaps together securely and easily with the spring loaded button catches in much the same way the tent legs lock together. It keeps the sections together and keeps them from turning which enables you to keep the head from turning on end in deeper snow and allows control when avoiding obstacles as well.
