I bought a pair for my mom and my wife. Both have raved about these gloves. They are NOT hot in the summer. They fit very comfortably. When they are dirty if you let the dirt dry, it just falls off. My wife worked with rose bushes and torn trees; she was completely protected. When my wife lost her pair, she would not buy a different kind; but insisted that we spend an immense amount of time looking for them. The gloves were cheap enough that I just bought her a new pair.
